There are ten 100g bobbins in the Bobbel Boxx, which represent the ten most important sections of a color gradient. The individual balls are numbered so that you can always reach for the next color section when working on the project. The Boxx itself, including the lid, is made of sturdy cardboard. Not only can the balls (and the project) be kept safe in it, it also serves as a ball holder while knitting or crocheting. Since the bobbins can be worked on from the inside, they don't roll around, so they can always remain clearly organized in the box.
